Traditional lacquered candy box with flowers

Beautiful traditional round "candy box". This storage item is decorated with red flowers on one side and gold on the other. Perfect for your decor, to use for your jewelry and other personal effects.

The object is made of wood and then covered with lacquer, according to traditional Japanese technique.

Handmade in Japan.

Useful tips: In order to keep the lacquer in good condition, please:

• Do not use in the oven or microwave;
• Use a soft sponge;
• Do not dive in water for a long time;
• Do not use in the dishwasher;
• Do not expose directly to the sun.
  

Despite these restrictions, there is no problem with using vinegar or oil, the lacquer is strong enough to avoid oil stains.
